ZOTAC has announced the release of new motherboards based on the Intel Atom D510 bilingual processor and NM10 Express chip. The first board-NM10-DTX Wi-Fi-is made at the Mini-DTX form factor and is equipped with a good set of expansion ports: it has one PCI Express X16 slot, one PCI Express X1 slot, Mini PCI Express X1 connector with Wi-Fi module(Standard 802 is supported.11n), two SATA + another four SATA and one ESATA are implemented using an additional controller. Thus, this fee will be a good choice for building a home file server or media center.
The second fee-NM10 -TX Wi-Fi-is made at the Mini-ITX form factor and is much more modest. In particular, there is no PCI Express X16 slot on it, and the number of SATA ports is reduced to two. Both boards have passive cooling and are equipped with HDMI connectors – despite the fact that the chipset does not support this function. To implement the HDMI, the ITE It6261 microcircuit, which converts the LVDS signal in HDMI and supports resolutions up to 1366×768 points.
