
According to the latest information, the Acer iconia Tab A100 and A500 Android planets will soon receive an update to version 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Users from the USA will begin to receive an update from April 27. A little later, in the first week of May, this update will be received by these devices from Canada, Mexico and Latin America.
The Acer A100 tablet appeared on store shelves last summer. A device with a 7-inch display and a resolution of 1024×600 pixels originally worked under the control of Android 3 OS.0 Honeycomb. At the time of the release, the tablet had quite impressive characteristics: the dual -core platform NVIDIA TEGRA 2 and 1 GB of RAM. The senior model, a500, differs only by a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280×800 pixels.
The owners of the Acer Iconia Tab A501 tablet were behind the board, but, according to the certification of company representatives, this model will soon be updated. At the same time, the owners of the Iconia Tab A200 are already running Android 4.0 ics.
