3D-display from a soap bubble (video)

Scientists from the University of Tokyo presented a very interesting development – a display, which is a soap bubble. The volumetric picture is submitted from the system of projectors located around, and the plausible image is provided by ultrasound waves, which synchronously deform the fragile soap bubble. This is necessary to change the reflective ability of the soap surface, and which creates a three -dimensional picture. Scientists note that the creation of a voluminous image is not the only ability of the display on the soap bubble, if only one projector is used, a simple flat picture is obtained. However, in the presence of several projection sources, you can create an image close to the holographic.
