
Tablet Bulgarian site.BG managed to get detailed information about the budget tablet ASUS FONEPAD (code name ME371MG), the announcement of which, according to the Taiwanese resource Digitimes, will be held at the MWC 2013 exhibition.
Unlike the Nexus 7 tablet, based on the NVIDIA TEGRA 3 platform, FonePad uses 1.2-GHC Sonuclear Intel Atom Z2420 processor with the PowerVR SGX540 graphic accelerator. The list of characteristics of the novelty also includes 7” IPS display with a resolution of 1280×800 points, 1 GB of RAM, 8/16/32 GB of flash memory, Microsd Memory Slot, Basic 3-MP Cam and Frontal with a resolution of 1.2 MP, 4270 mAh battery, Axlerometer, digitalcompass, light and approximation sensors. The dimensions of the aluminum building of the tablet 196.6×120.1×10.4 mm, weight — 340 g. The duration of autonomous work is up to 9.5 hours.
We add that Asus FonePad can be used as a phone. The device under the control of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. As expected, ASUS FonePad sales will begin in the second quarter of this year.
