75 % of Ubisoft’s income falls on Digital sales

According to the presented information, Ubisoft has earned a reporting period €139 million, although I initially counted on only €125 million. At the same time, less than half of this amount falls on DLC and microtransactions. It should be noted the growth of digital sales — They brought the publisher 75 % (€104.8 million) income. For comparison, for the same period last year, this indicator was 56 %.

The head of the company Yves Guillemot admitted that they managed to achieve such success thanks to the shooters of Tom Clancy’s The Division and Tom Clancy’S Rainbow Six: Siege, as well as the Hungry Shark World’s mobile game. He is also sure that the games presented at the E3 2016 exhibition will help Ubisoft achieve new heights.
