Beautiful landscapes of the coast of Western Scotland were replenished with an unexpected attraction —huge oil tower. The drill installation was drifted after it was torn off from the tugboat, which transported the structure to Malta.
According to BBC, a tower called Transocean Winner contains 280 tons of diesel fuel and weighs 17,000 tons. Fortunately, no leaks have been found at the moment.
The territory of the beach, where the tower “moored” is temporarily cordoned off, while emergency tugboats are trying to rectify the situation.
