Scientists of the University of Sydney and American researchers jointly created a new product called Metro. Being introduced into the wound, he seals it in sixty seconds, and then dissolves.

Nazim Annabi, Associate Professor, assures that the glue in the wound freezes in the concentration of gel. In fact, this is a mixture of extremely elastic proteins from molecules sensitive to the light. Thanks to them, he, under the influence of the rays of ultraviolet radiation, manages to record in the wound in a minute. At the same time, the close connection of the tissue surfaces and glue is created without compromising the elasticity of the patient’s tissues.

The funds include special enzymes that allow you to determine how long it will stay in the wound: from several hours to many months. Metro, being extremely elastic, is great for the processing of intracurrency wounds, that is, where bodily fluids turn out to be serious destroyers. Scientists are already planning to start testing in humans, experiments on rodents and pigs, in particular, on light and arteries, showed wonderful results.
