Thrustcycle introduced a prototype of the self -balancing electric motorcycle Gyrocycle, which remains in an upright position thanks to internal flywheels creating a gyroscopic effect in rotation. This means that the vehicle not only automatically returns to a vertical position in corners, but also retains this condition during ordinary stops, while the rotation of the flywheels is turned on.
In the commercial version of Gyrocycle, it is planned to use a 8500 watts lithium battery, which will allow you to drive on one charge to 129 kilometers and accelerate to a speed of 121 km/h. According to the developer, the company began cooperation with manufacturing factories, which will allow the self-balance of an electric motorcycle next year. Its cost will not exceed $ 20,000.
