On the Indian logistics website of Zauba, containing a database of export-import operations, information was found about a certain smartphone based on the advanced Qualcomm processor.
We are talking about the Snapdragon 830 chip. According to available information, it will receive the MSM8998 designation (the Snapdragon 820 processor has an MSM8996 index). Earlier it was reported that the new product will be produced using 10-nanometer technology.
The Snapdragon 830 processor will be endowed with Kryo 200 nuclei and a powerful ADreno 540 graphic controller. The built -in modem X16 LTE will provide a maximum speed of 980 Mbps when downloading data. It is said about the support of the memory of LPDDR4x.
The prototype of the smartphone noticed in the Zauba database carries 4 GB of RAM on board. It is also said about a flash module with a capacity of 64 GB.
According to available information, the announcement of the Snapdragon 830 chip may take place until the end of this year. However, the first devices on this processor are likely to be represented only in the first half of 2017.
