According to the plans, Orion at the end of 2018 should take a flight around the natural satellite of our planet. There should also be 2 astronauts on board, who will test the new vest from Steamrad. It will be placed on a mannequin, whose sensors will record all the changes taking place with it. The second mannequin will act as a control sample and will be in flight without any protection. The head of Steamrad said he was completely sure of the protective properties of his invention. During the flight on Orion, solar radiation will be affected, which means that the best test for the new vest simply cannot be invented.
Note that astronauts working at the International Space Station do not face such a destructive risk, since they are protected by the magnetic field of our planet, which acts as a natural shield.
