A video appeared on the network in which two simple bearings are compared. Their difference is only in the manufacturer —The first was made in China, the second —in Germany. Both are advertised as having “weapons quality”, but German costs 30 times more.
Is there a difference if it is worth overpaying? Unknown Chinese engineer tried to show the difference using an elementary test. We watch the video:
Test 1: Chinese bearing. Makes several revolutions around the axis and stops. Rotation time —about two seconds.
Test 2: German bearing. Rotates, rotates and rotates. Time to stop —27 seconds.
