According to Taiwanese resource Digitimes, referring to its own «Industrial sources», Google is not going to limit himself to the release of the reference 7-inch tablet Nexus 7, created in cooperation with ASUS and NVIDIA. Already now preparing, at least, another tablet of a higher class.
We are talking about a product with a 10-inch screen, the supply of sensory panels for which Taiwanese companies Au Optronics (Auo) and Wintek will allegedly will be carried out. The latter, as reported, is already the key suppliers of sensory panels for the Nexus 7 tablet, working under the control of Google Android 4.1.
Unfortunately, the source does not report any details about the 10-inch apparatus. The launch of Nexus 7 set the goal of competition with Amazon Kindle Fire, and therefore the main requirement in the development was the final price of $ 200, although ASUS and Google tried to preserve the characteristics at a good level. The 10-inch apparatus, obviously, will not pursue such goals — Perhaps the company is preparing a reference flagship solution based on the latest technologies and with a clean Android OS.
