Acer announced the release of the Predator Z850 laser projector designed for use as part of top -level gaming systems.
The novelty is made in a red-black case. The device allows you to form an image of up to 120 inches diagonally with a resolution of 1920 × 720 points. The operating mode with a resolution of 1920 is also provided × 1200 pixels.
Brightness reaches 3000 ANSI Lumens, contrast — 100 000: 1. The declared service life of the light source varies from 20 to 30 thousand hours, depending on the operating mode.
The novelty implemented Proprietary technologies of ColorBoost3D and Colorsafe II, the task of which is to maximize the quality of the image. There are HDMI, D-Sub, USB interfaces, composite video inputs, etc. Dimensions are 383 × 310 × 96 mm, weight — approximately 5.5 kg.
The disadvantage of the Predator Z850 projector is its high price — 5000 US dollars.
