
Adata has announced the external solid -state drive SE730, enclosed in an elegant case of increased strength.
The data storage device is based on microchips of the flash memory of MLC Nand Flash (multi-level cells). Dimensions are 72.7 × 44 × 12.2 mm, weight — Only 33 grams.
The novelty is endowed with a symmetrical port USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C. Only one capacity option is provided — 250 GB. The declared reading/information recording speed reaches 500 MB/s.
The drive complies with the IP68 and MIL-STD-810G standards. This means that the device is not terrible by blows, vibrations, dust and moisture. The novelty is guaranteed to maintain performance after an hour’s stay under water at a depth of one and a half meters.
You can use the drive with computers running Windows, OS X and Linux operating systems. The SE730 model will be offered in gold and red color options. The price has not yet been reported.
