The next enchanting show that took place in the break of the final game of the NFL, with the participation of Lady Gaga and three hundred luminous drones in the air, it became possible thanks to the help of the electronic giant Intel. Constantly rebuilding in the night sky, drones turned into a developing American flag, then into flickering stars.
The project, called “Falling Stars”, debuted as part of a three -week show in Disneyland during the holiday season. All drones are subordinated to one operating system, which is able to control much more than 300 – up to 10,000 drones at the same time.
However, so far everything was limited to premiere due to the strict requirements of the US Federal Aviation Agency prohibiting the use of drones in the stadium zone, where the NFL finals took place. Therefore, the show was shown in the record created a week earlier.
The performance began with a “starfall” created using Intel processors. The flickering throws-stars, approaching the ground, stained in blue and red colors and formed in the American flag.
Especially for the show, quadrocopters were developed, equipped with LED backlight, which can create more than 4 billion. color combinations and is easily programmed for any animation.
Each drone maintains wireless communication with the central computer, performing its own unique dance and without fear of encountering hundreds of other machines.
