Alpha version of Call of Duty Online is already available in China

Call of Duty Online was announced in July last year – The project is aimed at Activision to profit from Chinese PC players. The country is prohibited from the sale of game consoles, so the multimillion -dollar army of gamers still remains almost an unrefined American publisher.

The development of Cod Online is engaged in one of the departments of the Chinese investment holding Tencent, whose sphere of interests includes social networks, online games and other types of electronic entertainment. It is worth saying that Tencent already has an incredibly successful Freemium-player called Cross Fire, so it is not yet clear what benefits will be extracted from internal competition between two games.
