A couple of days after the official announcement of FX processors and the Vision FX platform, AMD launched a special page on this brand. There is almost nothing on it, with the exception of an advertising video that emphasizes that the Vision FX platform offers the first desktop 8-core processor with large acceleration capabilities, support for Turbo Core 2 technology.0 and powerful discrete graphics Radeon HD 6000.
It is worth noting that the page says «Coming Soon (soon)». Does this mean that the first AMD desktop processors with Bulldozer architecture will enter the market soon or on this site should be expected to appear in the near future of some details about FX chips — It is not quite clear.
So far we know that the launch is postponed at the end of summer. There are rumors that AMD is experiencing some problems with the frequency potential of the chips, but the company itself claims that there are no difficulties, and this step is taken only in order to ensure normal mass supplies of the sooner Llano chips.
