Nikon introduced a compact camera Coolpix W300, created for travelers, adventurers and fans of active pastime.
The novelty is made in a sealed housing of increased strength. The device, in particular, is not terrible for diving under water to a 30-meter depth and fall from a height of up to 2.4 meters. The camera is guaranteed to maintain performance during operation at temperatures up to minus 10 degrees Celsius.
The Coolpix W300 model received 1/2.3-inch (6.17 × 4.55 mm) CMOP-sensor with 16 million effective pixels and a lens with a 5-fold optical transfocator (focal length is 24–120 mm in 35 mm equivalent). A system of optical image stabilization is provided.
Photosensitivity (ISO) changes in the range 125–6400, exposure interval — from 1/4000 to 1 second. The camera is endowed with a 3-inch fixed display, a SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot, stereo microphone, USB 2 ports.0 and micro-hdmi. There is also a GPS satellite navigation system, Wi-Fi 802 wireless adapters.11b/g/n and Bluetooth. Dimensions are 111.5 × 66.0 × 29.0 mm, weight — 231 grams.
The novelty supports 4K video recording with a resolution of 3840 × 2160 points and a speed of 30 frames per second. In addition, consistent photography at a speed of 7 frames per second is possible.
Coolpix W300 will go on sale in the summer at a price of about $ 390. Buyers will be able to choose between different color options.
