American scientists presented their new development – a humanoid robot named “Sally”. True, so far it’s too early to talk about its mass implementation.
The Sally robot was created by scientists of the Laboratory of Applied Physics from Johns Hopkins University in the city of Baltimore, Maryland, USA. The robot has two hands with fingers in which servo drives and the necessary sensors are built. The robot can raise, study and transfer items weighing up to 10 kilograms.
The new robot will be able to work in conditions of life -threatening people and perform complex tasks. You can control it remotely using a special wireless remote control.
According to the developers, their main goal was to create a limbs of the robot, which could exactly repeat the actions of human hands. And it seems they succeeded.
