American company Ossia, founded by physicist and businessman Hatema Zein, managed to make a large breakthrough in the field of wireless technologies for charging mobile devices. This was stated by the head of the company during his speech at the TechCrunch Disrupt conference.
As part of the TechCrunch Disrup conference, Ossia demonstrated its new development – completely Wireless charging, which works at a distance of several meters. The charging adapter is stated allows you to transmit an electric charge with a capacity of 1 W by a distance of 10 meters using special antennas, and the walls of the charging are not a hindrance. Interestingly, charger transmitters work at wireless wi-fi wireless interface.
The company intends to begin mass production of adapters for wireless charging in 2015. They will be presented in various color performances and will simultaneously charge up to several dozen mobile gadgets.
