Thanks to the rapid development of technology, smartphones have long turned into a photo and video, the quality of which is constantly growing. Very often their users witness violations of human rights and even military crimes that they try to capture contrary to danger.
However, far from always shot on mobile phones and smartphones, plots gain the power of irrefutable evidence for the investigation and court organs, since modern computer technologies allow you to “build” almost any desired picture. In addition, very often participants in illegal actions simply withdraw the captivating material that compromises them.
The new Eyewitness application, available in mobile app stores, should help in solving this problem. It was created with the active assistance of the International Association of Lawyers and is designed specifically for witnesses of military atrocities.
With it, eyewitnesses of such events can take photos and videos, not fearing that after that the participants in crimes will find them when viewing. Although in fact the record will contain detailed information about the location (GPS coordinates), the time and other necessary data, which, then, in a safe place, it will be possible to “show” and submit to representatives of law enforcement.
