The well-known manufacturer of motorcycles, the Italian company Ducati, together with the manufacturer of special clothing for motorcyclists, has developed a rather interesting system of protecting the driver and passenger in the event of an accident, called D-Air Street. At the moment, the system is presented only for the Ducati Multistrada 1200 sports and tourist motorcycle and is a safety pillow located in a special jacket. When a person is separated from the vehicle, the controller installed on the latter leads the security system to an active state. D-Air Street allows you to protect the neck and body from damage and pumps the pillow in just 45 milliseconds. Official presentation is expected on April 15.
